Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)

The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory body assisting the Pastor and parish staff in the vision and mission of the Parish as articulated in the Parish Pastoral Plan.  The Council normally meets on the first Thursday of the month approximately ten times a year.  Members participate in projects undertaken by the Council and other ministries of the Parish.  Term of office is three years.  Prospective members are chosen through a selection process where parishioners nominate fellow parishioners, or themselves; the community prays for those nominated; and Council members are selected by lot. In addition,  to ex-officio members, the pastor appoints members to the Council from the list of nominees not selected.
