2020-21 Parish Ministry Guide
Live + Jesus
Dear Parishioners,
The past several months have been a most difficult time in our world and in our country. With the worldwide ravages of the Covid-19 pandemic, the death of George Floyd, the civil unrest that followed his murder, and the exposure of systemic racism, our lives have been altered forever. There is no “going back” to the way things used to be on so many levels, this includes the practice of our Faith.
In our Parish Mission Prayer, we commit ourselves to “create a vital, welcoming Catholic faith community that embraces each person.” Perhaps, now more than ever, our Parish Mission challenges us to confront the issues of our time and to examine our conscious and unconscious racial biases… as individuals and as a Parish community that we may truly be the “presence of Christ in our world.”
Our Guidebook & Directory provides us with ministry opportunities to do our part in becoming that welcoming Faith community; it also keeps us connected as we build our community of Faith. I invite you to review the ministry opportunities available and to consider how God may be calling you to ministry. Click HERE to view our 2020 Virtual Ministry Fair
I thank our ministry coordinators for their assistance in updating our ministry guide, as well as the advertisers who make this publication possible without cost to the Parish. Most importantly, I thank you for accepting the opportunity for leadership through ministry.
In de Sales,
Fr. Bob
