- Teen Service Corps- I will be emailing teens and their parents who are interested in helping with yardwork. Please let me know if you are interested. Our first one will be in early November.
Upcoming Events
- All Hallows Eve Event- Friday October 30th 6:30pm Parking lot (Outside) With the help of the senior leadership team we are planning a Halloween event for 8th-12th graders. The evening will start with the seniors sharing about the significance of All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day. We will also learn about Blessed Carlo Acutis. After an opening prayer teens can choose to: Hang out by the fire pit and have smores, carve pumpkins (bring your own pumpkin), or watch Halloweentown which will be projected on an inflatable screen. Please bring a camping chair to use if you have one. Appropriate costumes are welcomed! Individually packaged snacks will be available but please eat dinner beforehand. Due to a recent rise in COVID-19 cases we will be limiting this event to 30 teens. Teens need to sign up in advance (before the day of the event) and sign in upon arrival. We will take their temperature when they arrive. Five chaperones are needed to:
- Set up the movie equipment
- Oversee the pumpkin carving station
- Start and watch the fire
- Monitor the bathrooms
- Enforce mask wearing and social distancing

Please RSVP by the end of the day November 5th to save your spot. Hand sanitizer will be available and masks are required. Two parent volunteers are needed: One to start the fire and be present from 6:00-8:00. We also need someone to pick up the chick-fil-a and to drop it off around 6.
Box of Joy Service Project- We are committing to filling 30 Boxes of Joy to send to children in other countries for Christmas. We will be filling the boxes and writing notes from 7:00-9:00pm on November 12th. Teens can stop by the parish hall anytime during that window and do not need to stay for the whole time. Teens are asked to bring either $5 to cover shipping and/or small toys. Snacks will be provided. Alternatively, teens and their families can fill a box at home and drop it off on the 12th.
